Oakfield Gardens Crematorium
Oakfield Gardens is situated at the heart of Central Bedfordshire, north of Flitwick and within the green and picturesque landscape.
Oakfield Gardens is the first crematorium in Central Bedfordshire and is operated by Central Bedfordshire Council. We support families on their journey through grief and provide a tranquil, dignified and respectful service hall for the celebration of the lives of those who have passed, providing timely access to a critical public service.
Later in the year we will also provide a peaceful and tranquil setting for reflection and remembrance, with an accessible public green space for local communities to explore.
Environment and ecology
We want Oakfield Gardens Crematorium to be part of the community and a place of peaceful reflection for the bereaved. In addition, we want the gardens and green space to be open to the local community for use throughout the year.
